Peychauds Aperitivo Liqueur

Peychaud\’s Aperitivo is a bright, balanced, Italian-style aperitif that stands as a lighter, more versatile alternative to traditional bitters, inspired by the iconic New Orleans cocktail culture staple, Peychaud\’s Bitters. Launched by the Sazerac Company, this spirit captures the legacy of Antoine Am??d??e Peychaud with a modern, approachable twist.Bottled at approximately 11% ABV (22 proof), this citrus-driven aperitivo presents a light, rusty-red hue. The aroma is inviting, featuring zesty bitter orange and grapefruit, complemented by subtle herbal, rooty complexity, and a hint of spice. Its light-bodied, refreshing texture makes it beautifully drinkable. It excels as a component in low-ABV cocktails, such as a Spritz with Prosecco and soda, or simply enjoyed neat over ice with an orange twist.
