INTRODUCING Mas de l\’Abundncia:

Nestled between Montsant and Priorat, Mas de lAbundncias history dates back to the 15th century. For centuries, the estate has been a haven for flourishing vines, olive trees, and vegetable gardens, earning its name from the lands natural abundance.

In 2002, Jess del Ro Mateu established Mas de lAbundncia and began crafting expressive, small-production wines. Today, Ryan Vanderpol and Nikki Katsutani carry this vision forward, combining their passion for wine with a commitment to preserving Montsants traditions while bringing fresh energy and their vision to the estate.

With a sustainable focus, they organically farm regional varietals like Garnatxa, Carinyena, and Garnatxa Blanca, alongside rarer plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Winemaking at Mas de lAbundncia is an artisanal process led by Edouard Chevalier, whose roots in Burgundy and 10+ years of Old and New World experience shape wines that honour the estates history while embracing its future.
