Charles Joguet Chinon Les Varennes du Grand Clos 2013

The Varennes du Grand Clos is located at the foot of the gravelly terrace made up in part of the erosion of the limestone hill.

This particular soil silico-clay and silico-limestone is located on the left bank of the Vienne, Sazilly.

The four and a half hectares of vines planted between 1962 and 1976 produce long-lasting wines with spicy black fruit notes.

The 2013 vintage, with spicy black fruit aromas, combining power and elegance, takes on a whole new dimension of aging.

Richness and complexity, this Clos offers a blackcurrant nose, on the palate, the fruit quickly takes over.Suave and delicate.
