Basil Hayden Toast was released in the summer of 2021 as a permanent line extension for the brand. No, it\’s not a breakfast whiskey. Instead, it swaps out the rye in its mash bill for American-grown brown rice, and finishes parts of its blend in toasted barrels. Hence the name.
