A deep rubygarnet colour and a rich, intense nose expect ripe plum and cherry wrapped in aromas of cocoa, tobacco, and sweet spice, with hints of licorice and balsamic undertones. On the palate it is fullbodied, powerful and warm, with concentrated dark fruit and a broad, velvety texture, structured by firm yet smooth tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving lingering notes of spice, dried fruit and subtle tobacco a bold, elegant and ageworthy expression of Nebbiolo from the Valtellina.
